Through evidence-informed practices and real-world experience, KIME is dedicated to supporting athlete development with a focus on performance, safety, and long-term health. Our goal is to help each athlete build confidence in their movement, stay resilient through their sport, and reach their full potential.

The History

In the early 1990s, Vince Mini began coaching out of his garage with a simple belief: training is personal. People didn’t come here just to lift weight—they came to rebuild confidence, improve their health, and reclaim the life they wanted to live.

As the founder of Mini’s House of Pain, Vince built MHOP with one goal in mind: to provide quality care for the community through physical fitness, while placing equal importance on mental and spiritual well-being.

The name itself was inspired by Lance, Vince’s first client, and a deeper promise—that real change requires discomfort, but never isolation. The “pain” was never about the workout. It was about having the courage to face what holds you back and the commitment to keep showing up for your why.

Vince had a rare ability to bring out the best in people. He believed in expecting more, in pushing beyond limits, and in helping others realize they were capable of something extraordinary. That belief became the foundation of a community built on trust, accountability, and genuine connection.

In September 2023, our community experienced an unimaginable loss with Vince’s passing. But his legacy continues—through the coaches he personally mentored, through the relationships built within these walls, and through every member who walks in striving to become better.

Mini’s House of Pain has always been more than a gym. It’s a place where people are seen, supported, and challenged with purpose. That legacy lives on today at KIME Fitness—where we continue to carry forward Vince’s mission: to help people become who they’re meant to be.
