WHAT IT IS

The Oak Ridge High School Performance Training Center (PTC) is a collaborative program between KIME Fitness and KIME Performance Physical Therapy. Athletes receive structured strength training alongside on-site physical therapy support, all in one coordinated environment.

HOW IT WORKS

Athletes train in small groups under certified strength coaches while licensed physical therapists are present on-site.

This allows for:

  • Immediate assessment of pain or movement limitations

  • Ongoing injury prevention strategies

  • Seamless communication between coaches and therapists

Training and care are integrated, not separated.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

Review the training schedule, select the appropriate program, and enroll online. Once enrolled, athletes can begin attending sessions immediately.

ORHS PERFORMANCE TRAINING CENTER (PTC)

The Oak Ridge High School Performance Training Center (PTC) is a collaborative partnership between Oak Ridge High School Athletics, KIME Fitness, and KIME Performance Physical Therapy, created to support the performance, safety, and long-term development of Trojan student-athletes.

The PTC delivers a comprehensive, pre-collegiate athletic development model by combining structured strength and conditioning led by KIME Fitness with direct access to licensed physical therapists from KIME Performance Physical Therapy. This integrated approach allows athletes to train with purpose, progress safely, and receive immediate support for recovery and injury prevention within one coordinated environment.

By improving access to professional care, educating athletes on how to use their bodies effectively, and applying sport-specific, safe progressions, the PTC treats student-athletes with the same level of attention and care seen at higher levels of sport. This approach helps athletes stay healthy, return to play sooner, and perform at their highest potential.
